Here at WarScape, we like to provide a safe and fun environment for our player base. To reach this goal we have to set up rules and regulations.
These rules are made so you can have fun, so you can feel safe and so you can enjoy the game to its fullest potential.
Please do your best to read and follow these.

We have moderators who will guide you from hostile or malicious behavior.
They have the authority to punish your account depending on the degree of your behavior.

    In-game Chat and Behavior

We believe in "Freedom of Speech" and will do our very best to apply this right to all of our members.
However, if we notice hateful behavior in the chat systems (such as: Racism, discrimination, hurtful intended verbal abuse or threats) we will intervene.
We are a RS private server, if we're going to be growing we must ask you not to advertise other servers within our chat systems. This includes PM's.
We all like to have fun, but useless spamming or "chat flooding" for the sake of being a nuisance is not allowed.

Attempting to scam players has always been a thorn in the eyes of any honest player.
Staff will be trained and allowed to claim full authority to resolve these issues in the case of a confirmed scammer.
Scamming: "Making a deal where one of the involved players does not get what he was promised".
Example: Quickly removing cash before pressing accept, the player thinks he's getting money when in reality he's giving away his item for free.

    In-game General

Our game is not perfect, it might have flaws or unbalanced issues and even a bug or glitch once in a while.
We must ask you -for the sake of everyone- not to abuse anything you find that fits the above description.
If you find an issue, please tell a staff member or ignore the issue. By (attempting to) abuse or reproduce the issue you're viable for a heavy setback in terms of punishment.
Staff might decide to limit your account rights, or even set you back in terms of items and experience.

    WarScape Staff

We try to keep our quality of staff as high as we can here at WarScape.
This means that we carefully pick people for positions and monitor their logs and behavior to give you the most reliable staff team we can offer you.
To ensure everyone knows what to expect, you will find a full hierarchy scheme below showing you the ranks and what you as a player can expect/demand of them.

    Moderators
A moderator's primary role is to ensure the well being of the community.
A moderator has the right to request things of our players, like an adjustment in behavior or the returning of an item after an unfair deal.
Moderators can ask you to leave a certain area or to stop engaging in conversation with themselves or a player.
Moderators have authority over normal players to ensure the community gets along and the game is played how it was meant to be.

Moderators will be trained to use their authority in a responsible and non-abusive way.
If you still think a moderator has done or said something that he or she should not have, there are several ways to deal with it:
You may report staff members for inappropriate behavior
    here.
You may approach other moderators to ask them for help in dealing with the case.
You may ask a superior staff member for help, the owners of this server have full authority over all staff members.

    Administrators
An administrator's primary role is the well being of the server.
Administrators will have a specific purpose (such as looking after the Player VS Monster aspect of the game).
Administrators don't deal with the community and are not to involve themselves in corrections of players.
Exception: If a situation calls for a moderator, but there is no moderator available at the time, the administrator is allowed to perform moderator duties until a moderator becomes available.

    Developers
A developer's primary role is the programming aspect of the game. They will step in to fix issues or add new content.
They have no right to tell people what to do or to attempt to punish other players for breaking rules.
Developers answer to the Owners and work together with Administrators, but are not superior to Moderators.

    Developers
Cosmos, Ghost and Solaire, we are your developers.
We are the founders of WarScape and we manage the entire project.
We hold authority over everything but will work together with our trusted staff members to make this server grow to its potential.

What about real world trading? Or trading items on here for items on runescape?

If anything like that turns up and we find reason to stop it we will, our moderators have that authority for that reason, and to deal with any other issue you might think of .

Well it's not explicitly against the rules, although common sense dictates against it. If someone really wants to do this, they can easily use pm or alternative clan chats or chat in uncrowded areas, they could even do it through skype and discord and we would never know. So in short, if they really want to they can. There are plenty of things like this that we could theoretically waste our energy and resources on fighting, but i'd rather attempt to invoke good sense in our player base by having capable people (supports/moderators) guide people with our combined image of how we want our community to act.

I understand, I just as a player don't wanna see anyone fall victim to that if they actually still do play Rs3 or Osrs.
